Since the playground generates unconditional joy and contagious laughter, Pump It Up’s attentive staff enforces important safety guidelines to maintain an environment devoid of avoidable mishaps. Parents and grandparents are always free to watch from the sidelines or spurn gravity alongside their fledgling kin.

9. $12 Ticket To Disney’s Cinderella and Frozen Fever With a Pre-Show Visit From Olaf @ The El Capitan Theatre, Hollywood

Disney’s new live-action feature Cinderella brings the classic fairy tale to life for a whole new generation of “happily ever after” fans.  The magical transformation takes place at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre. As you wait for the curtains to raise, you’ll see images spring to life during an immersive light and projection show accompanied by a live organist. Plus, only with Disney’s Cinderella can your little princess-lovers see Disney’s new animated short Frozen Fever. Making the event even more magical, everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf, will stop by in person to introduce the short. Before leaving the theater, make sure to check out the film’s glass slipper, displayed with other props and costumes used in the filming of the movie.

10. $49 To See Disney’s Broadway Smash Musical Newsies at The Hollywood Pantages, Hollywood

Direct from Broadway with a brand new number and a cast that’s making headlines, Newsies gets its Los Angeles debut at the Pantages Theatre. Featuring a score by Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Sister Act: The Musical) and a book by Tony Award-winning playwright Harvey Fierstein (La Cage Aux Folles, Torch Song Trilogy), Newsies is based on the popular 1992 Disney movie starring Christian Bale about a group of newsboys who take on a ruthless newspaper tycoon. Based on true events, the musical tells the captivating story of a band of underdogs who become unlikely heroes when they stand up to the most powerful men in New York. It’s a rousing tale about fighting for what’s right — and staying true to who you are.

Happy Field Tripping!
