Southern California has experienced some crazy like weather this year!  In March, when we are supposedly in the middle of the winter, we had record setting heat.  Now in May, with only 18 days till summer, Southern California has been visited by rain, hail and snow.  Simply, strange!

So two weeks ago, when we had 90 degree weather, my children and I went to our local pool to try out our new pair of Frogglez Goggles.  Frogglez Goggles tout themselves as “the world’s most comfortable swim goggles for kids!”  We wanted to see for ourselves if their claim to fame was true.

Initially, Frogglez Goggles’ package was very easy to open and the directions were simple to follow.  All I had to do was release the velcro straps on each side of the goggles and adjust them onto Field Trip Girl.

Field Trip Girl has a very small frame, so I had to pull the straps pretty tight to get the goggles snug enough to fit on her.  We had to readjust the straps about three times before we found the perfect fit.  However, this is normal for all googles I have found.  It always takes a few tries before getting it right.

What I really like about Frogglez Goggles is that the strap goes over and around the child’s head.  This prevents the constant slipping of the band that happens with most traditional googles.  I can’t tell you how many times I have to readjust my kids’ googles in the summer.  But Frogglez Goggles prevents this from happening.

Frogglez Goggles also did a great job at keeping the water out of Field Trip Girl’s eyes when she went swimming.

Then I put the goggles on Field Trip Boy.  I actually think they worked better on him, because he has an average size frame.  Frogglez Goggles were also snug on him the enter time he went swimming and did not fog up like other brands can.
