If you’ve followed SoCal Field Trips for some time now, you know I am a big fan of saving money! I like to research and find the best deals online to visit such places as the movie theater, to see a concert or attend a sporting event. One of my favorite websites to peruse for deals is Groupon.com
The other day while searching for discount tickets to a local museum in my area, I discovered that Groupon has another money-saving section to their website called Groupon Goods. Here I found discounts on back-to-school supplies, designer brands, electronics, everyday essentials and fun finds.
Plus if you are a bargain shopper like me, you will want to check out Groupon Goods’ clearance section. For example, today on Groupon Goods I found an Eddie Bauer Dog Toys (3-Pack) on sale for only $10 (normally $38.99). I know Field Trip Dog would appreciate a new set of toys. Now I need to convince my husband that he needs them!
So how does Groupon Goods work? It’s easy! Simply search for a particular item that you need on their website and they will display a list of related items for sale. I warn you though! Groupon Goods has so many items for sale, it is hard to select just one. This happen to me when I was looking for back-to-school deals today.
Here’s just a small sample of what I found:
Acer Aspire 11.6″ Laptop with Dual-Core Processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB SSD (Manufacturer Refurbished) – $139.99 (What a great item for back to school!)
Let’s Learn to Read 10-DVD Collection by Rock ‘N Learn – $39.99 (A good resource for homeschoolers.)
Aduro PowerUp 40-Watt 6-Port USB Charging Station – $19.99 (Who needs more outlet space? I do!)
- Brain Quest Deck and Workbook Sets – $20 (I used the 4th grade book with Field Trip Boy over the summer to brush up on his academics and it was quite challenging.)
The opportunity to save money with Groupon Goods is endless. I hope you enjoy saving as much as I do!
Happy Back-to-School Shopping!
