Your family is invited to Exploring Your Universe (EYU) on Sunday, November 8 at UCLA! Exploring Your Universe is an annual science outreach day held on the UCLA campus, filled with exciting science demos, activities, and talks. EYU has family-friendly activities that provide a wonderful look into real science for all ages, from “K through Gray”!
Exploring Your Universe (EYU) is a FREE public outreach event that showcases science from departments across UCLA through hundreds of fun, hands-on activities, demonstrations, and experiments for all ages. In addition to hands-on demonstrations and experiments, there is a lecture series, a planetarium show, a physics show, and access to rare fossils along with UCLA’s world-class meteorite collection. This event truly has something fun for everyone!
Exploring Your Universe runs from 10am – 5pm, with special night time activities such as telescope viewing (weather permitting) starting at 8pm. UCLA recommends that visitors arrive early and plan to stay for the duration of the event, as there is plenty to see. They will also be giving away 500 free swag bags at the beginning of the event!
