What’s better than a good old fashioned country fair?  Cotton candy, endless fair rides, hot sausages and so much more creates for the perfect family outing!

If this sounds right up your alley, then you will want to attend the second annual Temecula Valley Fair, presented by Temecula Valley Toyota on March 18-21, 2016 at Galway Downs in Temecula.  The fair will run Friday 12 pm – 10 pm and Saturday through Monday 11 am – 10 pm, rain or shine.

Last year was the fair’s first time in the community.  It was by far bigger and better than any one anticipated with over 15,000 attendees.  This year’s theme is titled Twice As Nice!  To build upon last year’s momentum, this year’s fair organizers are adding on another day to the calendar and plan to make it “twice as nice” with pig races, dog shows, the 4H club, turkey legs and more.

4-H will present horse, poultry and rabbit shows and a chicken agility course with an egg judging contest.  Various animals will be on display, along with demos throughout the day.  Furthermore, there will be pig races three times a day, junior tractor pulls and dog agility shows put on by the Stunt Dog USA.

For visitors who gravitate toward fair food, the Temecula Valley Fair, presented by Temecula Valley Toyota have a few favorites coming back from last year, with the addition of a few more.  One of the exciting new food vendors this year is Spaghetti Ice Cream – they like to take vanilla ice cream and string it to what looks like spaghetti noodles and top it off with strawberry ice cream.  How fun!

Also on tap for food lovers are chicken wings, Tast-e-Burgers hamburgers, french fries, Chinese food and even some food trucks to add a fun element to food on the midway.

Entertainment wise, the fair is hosting a Friday night car show, a concert Saturday with the headliner soon to be announced and a Sunday night Balloon Glow.  Faith, Family and Fair Day will be held on Monday with local churches involved focusing on fellowship and contemporary worship in the main event area.

And as a surprise bonus this year…the fair has added the addition of a wedding expo on Sunday, March 20!  During the expo, six couples will be selected to receive a FREE brief wedding ceremony during the fair, in which all fairgoers are invited.  So are you ready to say “I do”?!!
