Last week, while my mother-n-law was in town, I decided to escort her around in style and rented the all new Mazda CX-9 AWD.  I’ve always loved test driving new vehicles, but the Mazda CX-9 AWD was above par.

Mazda CX-9 Safety Features

Whenever I am looking at a vehicle, safety features are top on my list.  Side impact beams, airbag occupancy sensor, and ABS and Driveline traction control are all great aspects of the Mazda CX-9.  Although my kids are getting older, the rear child safety locks are quite handy for those with younger children.  I also like the fact that there is a big backup camera and I was able to see clearly while pulling out of my garage and parking at the mall.

Now onto the interior of the Mazda CX-9.  The Mazda CX-9 is a beautiful luxury vehicle, inside and out.  It comes standard with front bucket seats and a six-way manual adjustable driver’s seat.  The passenger seat also moves in 4 different ways.  Now that’s a lot of personal space to get comfortable in!

What would a beautiful vehicle like the Mazda CX-9 AWD do without proper entertainment?  The Mazda CX-9 AWD comes fully loaded with bluetooth wireless phone connectivity, a fixed antenna, 2 LCD monitors in the front and an AM/FM sound system with 6 Speakers.

When looking for a new vehicle, you want to inspect it’s features from bumper to bumper.  The mechanics of the Mazda CX-9 are definitely comparable to other vehicles in it’s class.  The engine is a 2.5L SKYACTIV-G 4-Cylinder Turbo, while the transmission is comprised of a SKYACTIVE-DRIVE 6-Speed Automatic with sport and manual shift modes.
