A few days ago I took Field Trip Girl and her best friend Marin to see Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Enchantment at the Honda Center in Anaheim! The show originally opened on Thursday, December 15 at the STAPLES Center in LA and concludes next Sunday, January 8 at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario.
It was such a fun night! Field Trip Girl and her friend were excited and couldn’t wait to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse come out on stage.
The action-packed ice spectacular showcased beloved characters from Disney•Pixar’s Cars, Toy Story 3, Disney’s The Little Mermaid plus the enchanting Academy Award®-winning Frozen. Field Trip Girl was especially beside herself watching Anna and Elsa ice skate together.
To maximize the fun factor, check out these 3 tips for making the most of your visit to see Disney On Ice:
Dress up in your Disney best.
Why not make Disney On Ice extra memorable by wearing Mickey Mouse ears or a Disney inspired costume? This is especially exciting for younger children who love dressing up as their favorite Disney princess or movie character. There is also no age restrictions on dressing up for a Disney On Ice show. So, go for it! S
ome of the Disney characters that inspired us to wear our Disney best were –
Ariel and Flounder from the movie The Little Mermaid.
Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf from the movie Frozen.
Ken and Barbie, the Toy Soldiers and Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head from the movie Toy Story.
Bring the fun of Disney On Ice home.
After watching snow fall on Arendelle, and seeing Elsa and Anna make their way through a snowstorm, bring the joy of winter snow home with you! Make a snow man outside and measure how tall it is. See how fast you go snow sledding down a hill. Paint a picture with colored icicles and more.
Host your own ice show at home.
Once you get home from seeing Disney on Ice, encourage your kids to put on their own ice show for family and friend! They can dress up in costumes, do twirls and leaps around the living room and even crack a few jokes like the cast of Disney on Ice did.
