Attend the FREE Long Beach Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, May 16 from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm!  There will be over 35 trucks on display for kids to climb aboard and explore.

Attend the FREE Long Beach Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, May 16 from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm!

Approximately 36 large vehicles will be on display for kids of all ages (including you too parents!) to climb aboard and explore!

This inaugural event, and the first of its kind in Long Beach, is hosted by Justin Rudd, Community Action Team (CAT), and Councilwoman Suzie Price.

  • Long Beach Fire Dept. vehicles (ladder firetruck)

The Jazz Angels will be providing musical entertainment and the Long Beach Firefighters Local 372 will be grilling hot dogs.

LOCATION: The event will take place in the beachfront parking lot at Granada Avenue in Belmont Shore.

PARKING: Parking is free in the Granada Avenue parking lot from Granada Avenue to Bennett Avenue.

BONUS TIP: There will be a free VIP event from 9:00 – 9:30 am for children with disabilities and special needs and for the Boys & Girls Club.

HOW TO REGISTER: You can either register on-site on the day of the event or online.  Each participant has to sign a liability waiver and will receive a wristband.

Check this out!  The team is currently looking for volunteers to participate who own either an RV, golf cart, 4-wheeler, riding lawn mower, Harley Davidson, cement mixer, limo, TV news van, tow truck, mobile dog wash vehicle or fork lift.  Drive-in time for the vehicles is 8:15 am and ends at 12:30 p.m.
