On Tuesday, March 3 is National Pancake Day! And in honor of the occasion you can order FREE Pancakes at IHOP restaurants across the country all day long.
National Pancake Day first got its start back in 2006. Since then, IHOP restaurants have raised close to $16 million to support charities in the communities in which they operate.
On Tuesday, guests will celebrate a “Decade of Giving” with the tenth annual National Pancake Day at IHOP restaurants. In exchange for enjoying a FREE short stack of Buttermilk pancakes, guests will be asked to consider leaving a donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals or other designated local charities.
This year IHOP hopes to raise $3.5 million for charity. Now that’s a whole lot of flipping packages!

Tips for visiting IHOP on National Pancake Day:
1. Go early in the morning when they first open up for business! We have been to IHOP numerous times for their free pancakes on Halloween and National Pancake Day. And it can get very crowded! So the earlier you go, the better!
2. Go in a small group. The larger the group, the harder it is to find seating.
3. Be patient with the serving staff. National Pancake Day is one of IHOP’s busiest days of the year.
4. Donate if you are able! All funds are going towards a good cause.
