This last June, I had the awesome opportunity to attend one of the most highly sought after social media events in the blogging world, called the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration “On-The-Road” in Portland, Oregon. I had the privilege of being hand selected among hundreds of applicants to celebrate all things Disney with special mom bloggers (and some dads too) from across the Western United States.
My magical morning began with breakfast, a little pin trading and a lot of Disney small talk (I mean BIG talk!) Throughout the morning, I heard inspirational Disney Parks speakers, such as Tyler Slater, share about what is new at Disneyland and Disney World.
With Disneyland celebrating their 60th anniversary this year, the Disney California Adventure Park rebuilt the World of Color from the ground up and officially renamed it the World of Color – Celebrate and included all new animation. The show takes you on an adventure, a story of Disneyland Resort and how it started with one man’s dream to where the theme park is today.
Disneyland Park has also unveiled an all new fireworks show called Disneyland Forever in honor of their 60th anniversary. Disneyland Forever shows you just how magical the Magic Kingdom can be, in a sky-high celebration featuring sparkling pyrotechnics, immersive projections, and other effects that transform the park. Disneyland Forever also has the largest installation of projection mapping technology in a Disney park and surprising special effects. Main Street, U.S.A., and several other Disneyland park locations light up the night in a magical canvas which includes flying above the London skyline from “Peter Pan” to a dance with King Louie in “The Jungle Book.” Families will be delighted with this new addition to the park which is already a spectacular vacation destination.
Plus Disney recently launched a new travel excursion company called Adventures By Disney. Adventures by Disney provides customized tours throughout the world including Asia, Africa, Australia, Center & South America, Europe and North America. “To travel with Adventures by Disney is to have access to the world.
