Guests of all ages can party with the sea stars at the Aquarium of the Pacific’s Latin-themed Late Night called Noche de Estrellas is on Friday, March 27, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The Aquarium will remain open past normal operating hours so guests can dance to the sounds of cumbia, salsa, rock en Español, ska, and more with the live bands Sonsoles and Raskahuele and DJ Quinto Sol.
The Noche de Estrellas (Night of the Stars) event will feature:
- Aztec dance with Danza Azteca Cultural Ketzaliztli
- children’s crafts with the Museum of Latin American Art
- underwater SCUBA diving show
- scavenger hunt with prizes
- ocean-related activities
- drought education with Mujeres de La Tierra
- Earth science with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL)
- and more all offered in both English and Spanish
Mexican cuisine, beers, wine, cocktails, and refreshments will also be available for guests to purchase.
In addition to being immersed in Latin culture, guests can journey through the Pacific Ocean to meet over 11,000 animals at the Aquarium, including penguin chicks and animals they can touch from sharks and rays to sea jellies and horseshoe crabs.
People can enjoy the ambiance of the Aquarium at night and this all-ages event for the discounted price of $14.95 per person.

I love all sea creatures but I have always thought seahorses were super interesting and amazing. I love watching them at the Aquarium.
