Attend the Los Angeles County Air Show on Saturday, March 19 – Sunday, March 20 at The Fox Airfield in Lancaster! The United States Navy Blue Angels Demonstration Squadron will roar across the skies of Southern California as the headlining act of the 2016 Los Angeles County Air Show. The Blue Angels, along with an exciting array of thrilling jets, world-renowned aerobatics performers, and historic aircraft, will captivate fans and inspire young and old alike.
As the daughter of a retired American Airlines pilot and Vietnam Vet, this event is especially close to my heart. As a child, I remember my father taking me to see numerous air shows around California. The air show at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California was all time my favorite. But due to budget constraints many air shows in California have been canceled. So Southern California residents are very lucky to have the Los Angeles County Air Show in town!
On the ground, spectators will be able to explore static aircraft displays, interact with pilots and crew members, and experience interactive attractions and educational exhibits designed to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
Los Angeles County Air Show STEM Expo
Stop by the 2016 STEM Expo, brought to you by Northrop Grumman, to experience a 15,000 square foot pavilion area filled with exhibits from aerospace companies, colleges, K-12 STEM programs, live robotics demonstrations, and a range of professional aerospace and engineering societies. Specific participants include Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, NASA, Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo and USC.
The Expo will entice children of all ages and their parents to enjoy a hands-on educational experience designed to spark the interest of young adults and their involvement with STEM while educating them on the opportunities in the aerospace industry in the Antelope Valley.
Los Angeles County Air Show Admission
- Adult (ages 13 and up) – $20 online, $25 at the gate
- Youth (ages 6-12) – $15 online, $20 at the gate
- Children (5 and under) – FREE

The Los Angeles County Show will be held at the William J Fox Airfield, 4555 W Avenue G, Lancaster, CA 93535. Parking is $10 on site.
