Attend Teen Science Summer Camp on The Big Island of Hawaii with Science Camps of America!

Who says learning has to end during the summer months?  When I was a child my parents sent me away to summer camp every summer.  It started in sixth grade and continued every year until I graduated high school.

But as the years went on, I wanted to spend more time at camp and less time at home.  So much so, that my parents made me start paying for part of it.  So every Christmas and Birthday when I received money from my relatives, I would put it toward my “camp fund.”  I loved camp so much that I even ended up working at one during summer break from college.

Youth development experts agree that children need a variety of experiences in their lives to help them grow into healthy adolescents and adults.  Attending summer camp allows children to discover new hidden talents, refine old skills and make new friends.  Science Camps of America in Hawaii is the perfect summer camp for this!

Science Camps of America is a nonprofit summer camp on the Big Island for teens entering grades 8-12, in which they explore science outdoor and hands-on during a 10-day overnight camp.
