As a busy mom, I love doing crafts with my kids. But having to run to the store to buy a ton of supplies every time they want to do a craft gets old pretty quick. This Airplane Toilet Paper Roll Craft uses toilet paper rolls that you already have from around your house to make a fun and easy craft for your kids! Your kids will love building their very own cardboard tube airplane, and you get to repurpose those toilet paper rolls that otherwise would end up in the garbage!

This craft is so fun and easy that kids of any age will love making it! This craft would pair well with a unit study on transportation or to prepare your child for their very first airplane ride! This craft is so versatile, and your kids will love the opportunity to make their very own airplane! Plus, they’ll have fun playing with their creation for hours!

- Glue

Cut another sheet of paper to fit the cardboard tube, approximately 4 inches by 6 inches. Glue the paper to the cardboard tube.
Attach the wings and tail to the tube.

Glue the wheels together placing the white inner wheel over the black outer wheel. Allow to dry.

Cut chenille stem in half and bend into shape for landing gear, with a flat space in the middle to attach to the plane and the ends bent upward to give stability.

Glue the two black strips together to form the propeller of the airplane.

Glue the wheels to the pieces of the chenille stem that are bent upwards.

Attach the propeller to the front of the tube.
Use clear tape to attach the landing gear to the bottom of the plane.

Allow the craft to dry completely before playing or displaying.
