There’s no other port like it in the world. The Port of Los Angeles is a premier international Port, the #1 container port in the nation, a leader in environmental initiatives and home to diverse recreational and educational facilities.
Port of Los Angeles Free Harbor Boat Tours
The Port of Los Angeles invites you to expand your knowledge of the world around you, and learn about the history and activities at Los Angeles Harbor by taking a free one-hour boat tour on Saturday, May 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. as part of World Trade Week.
The narrated harbor tours will provide passengers with close-up views of America’s Port in action, including container ships, the Vincent Thomas Bridge and a waterside view of the LA Waterfront.
There is nothing like the experience of pulling up next to a massive containership as it unloads hundreds of containers, or seeing the world’s largest container facility that, at nearly 500 acres, is three times the size of Disneyland, and sits on a manmade island built from Catalina Island stones and material dredged from the bottom of our channels.
