Join The Discovery Cube Foundation for their annual Rocket Launch at The Boeing Company in Huntington Beach on Saturday, May 13 from 9 am – 2 pm. Rocket Launch is a free community event available to science, rocket and engineer enthusiasts of all ages. This hands-on day is full of activities for all ages and includes a competition where you’ll design, build and launch your own rocket!
How To Register For The Rocket Launch
- Bring your own rocket from a 2-liter plastic soda bottle at home or on-site.
- Design and attach a parachute. The payload with the longest “hang time” in the air wins!
- Bring your own chairs and sunscreen (no pop-ups or large umbrellas please).
- Indulge in Southern California’s top gourmet food trucks.
The Rocket Launch will be held at The Boeing Company at 5301 Bolsa Avenue, Huntington Beach, CA 92647. Parking is free on site.
